The city is seeking a marketing specialist to provide a broad range of marketing services. The specialist will manage and update social media accounts and websites, ensuring content is engaging, on-brand, and consistently refreshed. Responsibilities include executing campaign plans set by the communication coordinator, managing content production schedules, publishing across multiple platforms, and tracking performance for assigned channels.

The role covers serving as the primary content creator and graphic designer, producing a variety of marketing materials such as graphics, flyers, posters, brochures, digital ads, and more for both citywide and department-specific initiatives. The specialist will also oversee event photography and videography, maintain organized archives, and update digital signage content according to established guidelines. Additional duties include coordinating giveaways, contests, and community engagement activities, developing partnerships with local businesses and tourism organizations, and representing the city at industry events and community functions.

Further responsibilities include managing CMS uploads, scheduling platforms, email tools, and website calendar updates to ensure timely communication. The position also involves coordinating advertising placements across television, radio, print, and digital platforms and reporting on campaign performance. The marketing specialist will support the communication coordinator with additional citywide content creation and routine updates as necessary.
