The selected vendor will provide comprehensive marketing, communications, website management, and social media services using a content management system. Responsibilities include developing a destination marketing strategy with an implementation plan spanning one year and a forward-looking strategy for the next one to three years. The scope encompasses creating and launching creative campaigns to promote overnight stays, utilizing an integrated media mix across digital, print, video, radio, outdoor, online, and direct marketing channels.
Vendors are expected to offer robust data tracking, measurement, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI), with recurring reports aligned with meetings. Media and platforms must be used to monitor, analyze, and respond to brand and reputation issues. Additionally, the vendor will conduct website audits, management, and optimization, including CMS maintenance, hosting, software and hardware support, administrator and end-user training, SEO programming, and implementing ADA compliance and privacy requirements. Strategic recommendations to enhance competitive positioning and distinguish Arroyo Grande as a unique destination are required, along with measurable tracking of website visits.
The digital presence must be further supported by comprehensive social media management, content creation, platform reporting, and the provision of creative assets, including copy and graphic examples. The contract period for these services is three years.
