DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will operate the Logo Sign Franchise Program on interstate highways and other controlled access highways in Minnesota. The program provides blue highway signs with individual business logos for motorist services, including gas stations, food establishments, lodging, camping, 24-hour pharmacies, and other eligible attractions.

Responsibilities include managing, funding, and maintaining the entire program; furnishing, installing, and maintaining all logo signs associated with designated service categories; and marketing all eligible spaces for business logo sign panels, both on mainline highways and exit ramps. The contractor will also be required to install and maintain the marketed business logo sign panels on approved routes.

In addition, the vendor must provide and maintain a program website. This website should offer general program information, details on lease fees and options, essential contact info, office hours and location, and the eligibility criteria for participating categories. The vendor is also tasked with establishing and upholding guidelines for the approval, design, erection, maintenance, and funding of the logo signs. The agreement will span a ten-year period.
