Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to update and enhance its Local Wellness Policy Assessment Tool, which is utilized by schools and districts. The selected vendor will be responsible for making edits to the tool, including updating the triennial assessment report and strengthening both the policy strength checklist and the implementation assessment components.

The assessment tool is comprised of two primary parts: a checklist designed to evaluate the strength and compliance of local wellness policies, and an implementation assessment to monitor and review how effectively those policies are put into practice. The improved tool will support school and district wellness committees in systematically evaluating and tracking wellness policy progress and adherence.
