The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is issuing a notice of intent to enter into a single source contract with Porter Lee Corporation for the maintenance and technical support of its Forensic Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The LIMS is essential for evidence tracking, inventory, and auditing across multiple forensic disciplines including Biology, Firearms, Chemistry, and Toxicology. The scope includes maintenance for the core LIMS and various modules such as the Evidence Management System, Radio Frequency Identification System, .Net LIMS System, Toxicology Automation Module, Prelog v2, Android Software for Custody Transfer and Inventory Modules, and the Biology Automation Module. The contract covers preventive and remedial maintenance, configuration management, system administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, and programming.
