A county in Michigan is seeking the services of an experienced applications architect to support the selection and planning of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system. The selected professional will work closely with the agency to identify and document functional, technical, security, integration, and workflow requirements tailored to the county’s needs.
Key responsibilities include assisting with high-level project scoping for future phases, such as system configuration, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and planning for post-implementation support. The architect should possess a deep understanding of contract management processes, including contract authoring, approvals, workflow automation, redlining, versioning, repository management, use of templates and clause libraries, as well as performance tracking.
Deliverables will include a comprehensive requirements document, a high-level implementation roadmap, and detailed time, cost, and resource estimates for each stage of the project. Additionally, the architect will identify significant risks, dependencies, assumptions, and preparedness factors to guide the agency through the CLM system implementation.
