The system must feature comprehensive workflow tools, relevant communications, and notifications, as well as support inspections, investigations, and a range of optional enforcement functions.

Key capabilities should include scheduling, tracking, logging, and reporting on inspections, case management of investigations, enforcement actions, and the handling of fines, manual payments, and refunds. The platform must capture internal Commission staff data for compliance reviews and performance management, offer adaptable workflows to changes in laws and license types, and manage online and manual payments including escrow payments. Additionally, features for tracking license extensions, applying fee waivers, financial reporting, revenue management, and role-based access controls are required.
