A public entity in Alaska is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based library management system. The solution must support all district-wide traditional library operations, including circulation, cataloguing, inter-library loans, inventory management, reporting, overdue notices, billing functions, and an online public access catalog. Additionally, the system should effectively manage instructional assets and resources, offering a responsive and user-friendly interface for library staff and patrons, including students, employees, and families.

The new system will be built around a cloud-based enterprise relational database, offering scalability and flexibility to meet current and future needs without requiring custom programming from the vendor. Services required include development, installation, data migration (with bulk transfer of item records, patron data, and circulation history), implementation, customization, training, support, and maintenance. Migration must occur without manual scanning of individual items. The contract period will be five years.
