The province of Ontario is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) to support all stages of medical education, encompassing undergraduate and postgraduate programs, distributed and community-based clinical learning, and competency-based assessment. The LMS will function as a unified digital platform to facilitate curriculum mapping, accreditation reporting, clinical experience scheduling, and experiential learning tracking, providing comprehensive support for both learners and educators.
The chosen system must deliver robust features for teaching, evaluation, analytics, and continuous quality improvement, enabling a data-driven and learner-centered educational environment. In addition to managing educational workflows, the LMS should monitor and document clinical faculty teaching activities across multiple locations, streamlining workload reporting and payment processing. The platform must also track postgraduate residents during their various placements to streamline onboarding, support competency-based residency education, facilitate employment and payment workflows, and ensure compliance with funding models.
The contract for this LMS will span five years. Interested vendors are encouraged to carefully review requirements and ensure that any inquiries are submitted before the stated deadline.
