The Town of Ontario is seeking vendors to provide comprehensive leak detection solutions for its water distribution system. The required services include supplying and deploying leak detection equipment and cloud-based software that will actively monitor water pressure and detect leaks in real time, with the aim of minimizing non-revenue water loss.

Vendors are expected to deliver the necessary hardware—utilizing no-dig acoustic sounding or hydrophone technology—to monitor parameters such as pressure, water temperature, and leaks across the system. This hardware must be compatible with a variety of fire hydrant makes and models. The cloud-hosted software should store and analyze collected data, feature administrator-configurable alerts for pressure anomalies or leaks, and provide a geographic view to facilitate field investigations. Integration with the agency’s GIS system is required to visualize water infrastructure within the dashboard and map interfaces.

The solution should also monitor and display additional parameters, such as cellular signal strength, battery level, voltage, GPS location, and automatically alert staff via email or SMS when preset thresholds are met. All alerts must be easily configurable by town personnel through an intuitive user interface.
