(1) Vendor needs to provide law enforcement automated license plate recognition technology hardware and software. Responsible for evaluating the Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) replacement program, evaluating ALPR solutions for multiple departments within the City. Software should allow users to create alerts/hotlists, indicate the case number and reason for the search. The application should allow officers to receive hit notifications and to scan license plates from a cellular device. Parameters for users to search include make, model, color, and vehicle type. Web service and cloud service usage, including AWS and Azure, are required. Parking solution must be capable of tracking and issuing citations for violators. Hosting options should be provided, including cloud vs. on-premise, with confirmation of CJIS-aligned hosting controls if cloud is selected. The solution requires the ability to access databases for stolen vehicle hits and other related hits, as well as an integration approach, governance, and audit control.
