Summary:
Seeking landscape architectural services for green infrastructure projects to mitigate stormwater runoff in flood-prone areas of Dearborn, Michigan.
(1) Vendor needs to provide landscape architectural services to the government authority located in Dearborn, MI.– several green infrastructure projects with a portion of its community development block grant–disaster recovery (CDBG–dr) funding in targeted heavy flooding areas in northeast and southeast sections of the city.– Currently identifying strategic locations and conducting site assessments in these heavy flood prone areas and wants to use green infrastructure as a tool to mitigate stormwater runoff.– Consultant will help with the planning, design, and construction management of one of these green infrastructure projects.– Runoff from stormwater continues to be a major cause of flooding in urban areas.– Historically, communities have used Gray infrastructure—systems of gutters, pipes, and tunnels—to move stormwater away from where we live to treatment plants or straight to local water bodies.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 5, 2025.(3) The contract period will be for three years. (4) Mandatory on–site visit will be held on December 2, 2025.
