A government authority in Virginia is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive landfill services for the disposal of various materials. Eligible contractors must own or operate a landfill or recycling site within Isle of Wight, Suffolk, Southampton, Surry, or Sussex Counties. The site must be equipped to accept materials such as asphalt, concrete, waste/dirt, soil, stumps (less than 36 inches), brush, leaves, animal carcasses, and trash. All operations at the landfill or recycling center must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

The agency will transport and deliver waste materials directly to the selected contractor’s landfill. Upon delivery, the contractor is required to provide the agency driver with a clear and detailed ticket documenting the date and time, description and origin of the materials, and the agency truck number. Pricing must be provided as a unit price per truckload, reflective of truck size and contents, and should incorporate all associated disposal costs, including environmental, equipment, and fuel fees. No additional charges will be accepted. Once materials are deposited, ownership transfers to the contractor.

The contract will cover a period of one year. Interested parties must submit any questions regarding this opportunity by January 28, 2026.
