A government authority in Monticello, Kentucky is seeking a qualified vendor to undertake a paving and retaining wall replacement project at Lake Cumberland. The scope of work includes asphalt paving—both mill and replace as well as full-depth replacement—as well as limited concrete paving for a dumpster area located at the north end of the site.

The project also involves replacing an existing gabion retaining wall with a mechanically stabilized earth block wall. Construction drawings are provided, detailing the plan and profile of the new wall. Throughout the wall excavation and backfill process, a lane of travel must remain open to ensure continuous access to the north end of the camp.

Additional work includes the removal and reinstallation of a sanitary sewer lateral, as well as rerouting of storm sewers around the new retaining wall. This project requires expertise in asphalt and concrete paving, earth retaining structures, and utility relocation.
