(1) Vendor needs to provide laboratory information management systems. – The vendor is expected to: 1. Provide implementation of a LIMS per the requirements Page 2 of 34 (C–2 03–05–2025) 2. Provide 3 years of LIMS maintenance. This maintenance will include: • System patches due to bugs and cyber security issues. • System patches due to vendor product improvements. • Up to 50 hours per year of phone support for product questions or issue resolution. Support will be available Mon–Fri, 6:00AM–5:00PM Pacific Time. The vendor may, based upon knowledge of their product, suggest and estimate more than 50 hours of support per year. – High–Level Functional Requirements • Provides users with an interface to create sample batches and enter sample specific parameters. • Integrate with Hanford Lab owned instrumentation. • Sample data, lab instrument results, and any summary reports will be stored as historical information and can be accessed through the LIMS by users via query of sample parameters. • Provide an interface for users to locate and retrieve sample analysis results. • Provide a method for creating, reviewing, and approving analysis reports. • Provide administrative control for LIMS configuration and usage. • Ability to set up a workflow for each sample type • Provide user access controls. • Vendor installation requirements.
