The selected vendor will provide labor compliance services for government-related construction projects in Avondale, Arizona. Core responsibilities include scheduling and conducting preconstruction payroll meetings with property owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure understanding of labor compliance requirements. The vendor will prepare and distribute documentation such as wage determinations, labor posters, and required forms at these meetings.
The vendor must determine appropriate Davis‐Bacon wage determinations and trade classifications for each project, receive and review certified payrolls and related documents for prevailing wage law compliance, and review contractor invoices to verify completion and adequacy of documentation before authorizing payment. Duties also include verifying apprentice registrations, conducting job site inspections and worker interviews, monitoring and documenting compliance (including labor hours and good‐faith efforts), and preparing necessary reports in support of funding agency audits and project closeout. The contract is anticipated to last one year.
