(1) Vendor needs to provide jail door control system modernization services. – Replace and modernize the 24–year–old legacy Omron manufactured electro–mechanical jail door locking system controls and components – Site protection and protection of existing surfaces. – Manage and coordinate the installation of door controls and other work to each jail and jail area in the detention center while occupied. – Obtain required trade permits for the work. – Installation of an isolated security control network. – Incorporate new IP cameras into new security control system. – Removal of the existing analog visitation phones and installation of new VOIP phones to allow recording. – Removal of the existing keycard system and installation of new keycard system. – Removal of the old scramble pads and installation of new LED touchscreen pads. – Removal of the remaining 6 control panels and incorporate them into new keycard system. – Removal of all obsolete, unused, and or unnecessary equipment, cabling, and devices. (2) A mandatory pre–bid conference and job walk will be held on February 18, 2026. (3) All questions must be submitted no later than February 25, 2026.
