DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive irrigation maintenance and repair services. The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying all necessary labor, tools, vehicles, and rental equipment to effectively perform maintenance and repairs on the irrigation system, including the pump station at pond no. 3, all main lines, valves (including solenoids), buried and surface electrical valve wiring, piping, and heads, as well as eight additional smaller remote systems.
Services include routine monitoring of all underground irrigation zones to visually inspect for leaks, broken or misaligned heads, and malfunctioning electric valves. The contractor must repair broken underground irrigation lines in accordance with all applicable regulations and codes. Additionally, the vendor will examine clogging issues in sprinkler heads, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and test them to ensure proper function. The contract will have a duration of three years. Questions related to the RFP must be submitted by June 12, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 10, 2026.
