The government authority in Indio, California seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide non-discretionary, comprehensive investment management and advisory services. The selected investment advisor should be independent of any financial institution or securities brokerage firm as it relates to their relationship with the city.
Core responsibilities include delivering full-time investment management services, assisting with cash flow and maturity analysis, providing ongoing credit analysis of investment portfolio instruments, and rebalancing the city's portfolio as necessary. The advisor will also offer technical and fundamental market research, including yield curve analysis, and deliver detailed monthly reports on portfolio activity, performance, holdings, maturity, broker relationships, duration, and benchmark data. Separate, comprehensive quarterly and annual performance reports are required in accordance with the city’s fiscal year.
