A government authority in Brownsville, Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive investment advisory services for a period of four years. The selected vendor will actively manage, advise, and recommend the investment of funds for a college, with options for both discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management.
Key responsibilities include ongoing portfolio management, development and review of investment policies and internal procedures, and robust reporting with multiple types and schedules. The advisor will be responsible for reviewing custodial and safekeeping arrangements, conducting due diligence and maintaining relationships with brokers and dealers, and facilitating individual transactions with appropriate forms and confirmations. Trade confirmations and activity reports will be sent directly to the client, along with safekeeping clearance receipts and holdings reports.
Additionally, the vendor must submit portfolio reports monthly and quarterly as specified by the investment policy and contract terms, and provide credit analysis of security issuers and financial institutions. All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by March 25, 2026.
