Interoperability Services

The government authority in New York is seeking a vendor to provide interoperability services that improve data accessibility, generate new data, and replace outdated applications with integrated, user-friendly, and accessible systems. The engagement will establish standardized protocols, deploy data onto a new interoperability platform, connect existing interoperability solutions, and implement an API for clinical summaries.

The work will include converting clinical data sections such as demographic information, flags, care coordination, medications, diagnoses, procedures, encounters, laboratory services, questionnaire responses, and summaries. The vendor will also develop data ingestion processes for external providers, deploy patient matching capabilities, support secure client application registration, and validate data efficiently.

The services will modernize data collection, sharing, and interoperability across the state’s mental health system. The selected provider will help transform output data to support clinical decision-making, care coordination, and quality improvement; provide expert troubleshooting, incident response, and problem resolution; and act as an extension of internal teams for architecture, standards interpretation, data strategy, and operational workflows based on a unified computable model. Access to a learning management system and helpdesk ticketing system will also be provided. The contract period is three years, and questions are due by August 14, 2026.
