The organization is seeking an intermediate data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The selected vendor will work closely with the Lead Data Engineer and product team members to enhance data systems and identify and prioritize data improvements throughout the organization.

Responsibilities include assisting in the design and implementation of data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load information from various sources, as well as optimizing data warehouses and data lakes for better performance and scalability. The data engineer will also develop and maintain data models supporting reporting and analytics needs, monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot technical issues, and uphold data quality and accuracy.

Additionally, the role involves responding promptly and professionally to urgent internal data requests, documenting processes and system architectures, and contributing to best practices. The individual will support the refinement of dashboards and participate in analytics initiatives, including activities in Power BI.
