The government authority in Montpelier, Vermont seeks a consultant to provide statewide interdisciplinary team services in inclusive education. The selected contractor will implement research-based interventions and best practices, supporting students ages 3–22 who require intensive special education services and their educational teams.
Services will encompass professional development, training, and direct consultation for educators and related professionals, delivered collaboratively with statewide consultants as needed. The contractor is expected to build capacity for evidence-based practices serving students with low-incidence disabilities by partnering with statewide entities.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering regional training sessions, along with follow-up consultations, emphasizing inclusion and participation of students with low-incidence disabilities in the Least Restrictive Environment. The contractor must also collect and analyze feedback from individual assistance sessions, trainings, and other services throughout the contract year.
