A North Carolina utility organization is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an integrated utility software solution designed to modernize current operations. The new system will support Electrical Distribution Engineering, enhance GIS functionality by migrating from ESRI ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, and provide comprehensive tools for utility operations.

Key requirements include improving the accuracy and efficiency of electrical distribution design and staking, enabling both real-time and offline mobile access for field crews, and offering basic outage and ticket management capabilities. The solution should also support integration with AMI metering, SCADA, and other third-party systems, as well as deliver a hosted IVR system to bolster customer communication. Security, scalability, and ease of use are essential components of the deployment.

Vendors should also provide engineering and staking packages, mobile field access tools, robust GIS and mapping capabilities, thorough system integration and compatibility, hosted IVR functionality, as well as comprehensive training, support, and security provisions. The contract for this project will span three years. Potential vendors should note the important dates including a mandatory pre-bid meeting on January 13, 2026, and a question submission deadline of January 16, 2026.
