Vendor needs to provide integrated nutrition software that offers integrated lending edge technology to support menu and recipe planning, nutrition analysis, recipe management, ordering, and inventory management for the Nutrition Services Department at each facility. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) – Ability to exchange business documents, like purchase orders and invoices, between systems in a standardized format. Ability to identify where products should be stored. Must include capabilities that support the full life cycle of recipe creation, maintenance, scaling and analysis. Ability to configure recipes by concept, meal type, cuisine, crediting group, crediting, dietary attributes, nutrient category, process type, main component, subgroup, entree, vendor price association, meal period, and allergen. Develop preparation instructions for recipes to appear on printouts. Create and customize menus using text, shapes, and images.
