A government authority in Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive support and maintenance for its Information Technology Systems. The scope includes leading preventive maintenance tasks for all systems listed in the customer inventory, which encompasses workstations and baseline software. The vendor will offer helpdesk support for hardware, software, and operating system issues, with a required initial response time of two business hours. Proposals should clarify which helpdesk actions are covered under the regular monthly fee and which would incur additional hourly charges.
Additional responsibilities consist of performing continuous remote monitoring (24/7/365) of endpoint workstations, maintaining software baseline builds on workstations including browsers, productivity software, and other applications, as well as supporting specialized GIS and cloud SaaS applications. The vendor must ensure operating system performance through timely patching, uphold endpoint protection standards by applying recommended updates, and manage MDR (managed detection and response) software across devices and within the M365 environment for each user. The contract will run for one year, with all vendor questions due by March 31, 2026.
