Ontario is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a comprehensive ten-year Information Technology (IT) infrastructure roadmap and asset management plan for its data centre. The selected consultant will evaluate the current state of IT infrastructure, forecast future requirements, and review relevant agency documentation to inform the strategic planning process.

The responsibilities include project management for the consultant team, providing guidance on data collection and assessment, conducting research, and preparing materials and reports for review by senior leadership. The final Infrastructure Roadmap document must include key components such as an executive summary, document purpose, assessment of current and future asset states, asset lifecycle management, risk management plans, a financial summary with forecasts, and a detailed asset management and replacement plan.

This initiative will support the IT department in accurately forecasting budgetary needs and ensuring that hardware assets remain current and supported throughout the planning period.
