The government authority in Mississippi is seeking a vendor to provide a marine-optimized inertial positioning system. This system will support high–resolution synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) applications and related ocean measurement tasks, requiring robust assessment and accurate environmental data collection.

Key requirements include a high–resolution inertial measurement unit (IMU), integration with a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), and a compact physical design suitable for marine environments. The system must deliver six-degree positions and orientation data, offering precise measurements of altitude, heading, heave, pitch and roll, position, and velocity. It should feature ethernet input and output ports capable of transmitting time, system status, position, altitude, velocity, track, speed, as well as raw IMU and GNSS data.

Additional capabilities include data logging ports for external storage and configurable output rates for each port. High–speed attitude output covering attitude, heading, and speed is also required. Vendors should offer proven solutions tailored for demanding marine measurement and testing environments.
