A Tennessee agency is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a choreographed Independence Day fireworks show and live music event in 2026, with an expected attendance of up to 15,000 people. The selected vendor will provide a state-of-the-art, safe, and engaging pyrotechnic display as the highlight of the Independence Day celebration.
Responsibilities include organizing an innovative and continuous-fire aerial-level fireworks show that is visible from the river, park, and additional viewing areas beyond the discharge site. The display must feature a variety of effects, colors, patterns, and sound elements, with shells not to exceed 8 inches in diameter. Fireworks are to be choreographed to upbeat, Americana-themed music, and all aspects of the event—including live music from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—must be carefully coordinated, with the fireworks commencing at approximately 9:10 p.m.
The vendor is responsible for providing all necessary staffing during preparation, live event operations, and post-event teardown. Additional duties include supplying the sand required for the discharge area and ensuring professional supervision and direction of the fireworks setup and execution.
