A state agency in California is seeking a qualified contractor to produce a high-quality video series focused on inclusive practices in preschool settings. The project involves creating a series of short exemplar videos, each approximately 5–6 minutes in length, intended for professional learning and for sharing promising practices related to the inclusion of preschool-aged children.
Filming will take place in up to five preschool and early learning environments across diverse geographic regions of California. The contractor will collaborate closely with the agency’s Early Learning personnel throughout the project, including during pre-production stages such as location selection, storyboarding, interview selection, and identifying specific content focus areas.
Each video will feature exemplary programs and integrate interviews with staff, parents, and administrators, as well as B-roll footage demonstrating effective inclusive strategies in authentic settings. Multiple videos may be produced from one site if sufficient content is available to achieve content and representation goals. All videos are required to include closed captioning in both English and Spanish. The contract term is for one year.
