A qualified vendor is sought to provide comprehensive implementation services for enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, serving the needs of Canadian municipalities, provincial governments, academic institutions, and healthcare organizations. The selected proponent will deliver end-to-end technical and organizational support throughout the ERP lifecycle.
Services include assisting members in selecting the most appropriate ERP solution by conducting structured needs assessments, gathering business requirements, producing technical specifications, coordinating software demonstrations, and performing fit-gap analyses. The vendor will develop and maintain a tailored ERP solution roadmap, outlining strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, implementation timelines, and key milestones.
The project also encompasses business process engineering—evaluating and redesigning existing workflows to align with best practices and ERP capabilities. Technical responsibilities include designing the system architecture, configuring software modules, and handling integrations with external applications, all while ensuring compliance with Canadian cybersecurity and data residency standards. Effective data governance will be implemented through robust extraction, cleansing, validation, and migration of legacy data.
A strong emphasis will be placed on organizational change management, including comprehensive training and communication plans to ensure successful user adoption. The vendor will be responsible for quality assurance through system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), overseeing deployment to the live environment, and providing technical stabilization. Post-deployment maintenance and support, including incident management, software patching, and performance monitoring, will also be expected to ensure ongoing system stability and security.
