The government authority in Manchester, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive housing rehabilitation services. The Authority owns and manages 243 public housing multifamily units and 74 project-based Section 8 multifamily units, all of which require the attention of general contractors experienced in multifamily residential renovations and rehabilitations.
Project scope includes exterior and site work such as replacing driveways and sidewalks, removing storage barns, and installing new fencing. Roofing work involves the installation of new asphalt shingle roofing assemblies, ridge vents, gutter systems, and PVC fascia boards. Siding and window work will require new vinyl siding with 1½” rigid insulation and replacement of windows with triple-glazed vinyl units.
Interiors upgrades for 16 designated units involve installing new kitchen millwork, solid surface countertops, appliances, range hoods, and full bathroom upgrades with fiberglass tubs/surrounds and half bath improvements, including vanities and toilets. The contract period for these services will be one year, and all questions must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
