(1) Vendor needs to provide highway construction and ITS installation to the government authority located in South Portland, ME.– Conducted site visits to observe surficial conditions, traffic and boring access;– Coordinated and observed a subsurface exploration program, consisting of 169 test borings and a borehole geophysical test to evaluate subsurface conditions for the bypass mainline, the five culverts, and the Henderson Road, Northern Railway, and Easton Road bridges;– Conducted a laboratory testing program to evaluate engineering properties of the site soils and bedrock;– Conducted geotechnical engineering analyses to assess subsurface conditions for design of the mainline, including pavement design considerations, pavement drainage considerations, and rock slope stability and catchment evaluations;– Conducted geotechnical engineering analyses to evaluate foundation types and design parameters for the proposed bridges and retaining walls, lateral earth pressures for abutment and wingwall design, and seismic design considerations;– Developed geotechnical engineering recommendations.(2) A contract term will be for two years.
