The State of West Virginia is seeking to establish a lease agreement with a vendor for a Healthcare Training and Education Software Platform. The required platform must provide a subscription-based service with a minimum term of 36 months and a maximum of 60 months. The software should feature an intuitive, easily navigable menu interface for selecting training and educational content.
Essential functionality includes access to multiple training modules such as Advanced Dementia/Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Skin Health and Wound Care Essentials, and modules addressing the problems and needs of the aged, ill, and disabled. The system must also incorporate comprehensive content on infection prevention and control—including PPE, hand hygiene, accident and fall prevention, resident rights and protections, abuse and neglect prevention, electronic medical record documentation for HSW/CNA and nurses, medication administration, and facility-specific policies. Additionally, the software should allow for the upload and management of custom content and training materials in various formats, support the tracking of staff competencies and skills, offer tools for competency annual evaluations, and provide mechanisms for capturing digital signatures for compliance and facility policy acknowledgements. This platform will support facility in-service meetings, staff evaluations, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
