A New York public-school consortium is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver healthcare benefits advisory, brokerage, and strategic consulting services. The selected provider will support the consortium with a range of services, including strategic planning for healthcare benefits, cost containment analysis, regulatory and compliance guidance, and comprehensive reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities include advising on benefit structures and provider contracts, managing annual renewals, developing and issuing RFPs for insurance carriers and third-party administrators as needed, and supporting the implementation and enhancement of the consortium-wide healthcare benefits program. The vendor will also work closely with the Advisory Committee and Board, providing regular reports and collaborating on wellness initiatives, communications, and benefit education programs.

Emphasis will be placed on offering benchmarking and cost-containment solutions that are specifically tailored to the needs of public-school consortia. The contract is expected to cover a one-year period.
