The vendor will provide health information management and medical coding services to support revenue integrity, clinical data accuracy, and regulatory compliance across service units. Responsibilities include analyzing clinical documentation, assigning appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes, entering data into agency systems, and identifying and resolving documentation deficiencies.
Services may be performed by individual certified coders or teams of coders based on staffing shortages, workload surges, or coding backlogs at individual service units.
