The intended solution should support the unique programmatic requirements of these students, including immunization tracking, drug screening, background checks, management of vaccination and titer records, TB testing, and health attestations.

The system must feature mobile and web-based student portals with document verification workflows, automated reminders for important due dates, and real-time compliance dashboards segmented by student, cohort, and college. Administrative capabilities should include college-level access, customizable reporting, and role-based permissions for multi-college oversight, as well as controlled access for Health and Wellness and Occupational Health staff. Integration capabilities are essential, including support for MSU email authentication, single sign-on (SSO), API connectivity, and data import/export options. The system is also expected to offer end-to-end processes for ordering, tracking, and reporting on drug screens and criminal background checks, and include a Medical Review Officer (MRO) service for medication review.

Full compliance with federal, state, and clinical partner standards is required. The selected vendor should provide a dedicated implementation support team, defined training resources, and ongoing customer service through phone, chat, or ticket-based support for both students and administrators.
