The Town of Darien, CT is seeking engineering and landscape architect services to support the early access implementation phase of the Great Island master plan. The selected firm will provide design and construction-related services for roadway, parking, utility, and landscape improvements, all in accordance with the approved master plan.

Scope of work includes preparing all necessary bid and construction documents for an access roadway and sidewalk, associated parking, utilities, and landscape features. The firm will be responsible for obtaining all required regulatory approvals, making modifications to the existing traffic circle to accommodate a new traffic pattern, and reconstructing the North Causeway from the traffic circle to the Stables area. Additional elements involve constructing a visitor road serving new parking areas, visitor automobile and ADA-compliant parking areas, and designated passenger and shuttle drop-off locations.

The contract will have a two-year term.
