Key requirements include the ability to track prospects, manage cultivation activities and deadlines, and maintain engagement histories across multiple years. The software must offer customizable pipeline stages, assign owners and collaborators, facilitate alerts, and store critical opportunity documentation. Features such as checklists, go/no-go workflows, and integrated decision memos are essential, along with collaborative tools for narrative development, budgeting, and document uploads. Version control, audit trails, and configurable workflows for internal approvals involving leadership, finance, and legal must be included, as well as integration capabilities with existing institutional finance systems.

Additional functionalities should address expenditure tracking, support for both reimbursement and advance-payment grant types, real-time dashboards and reporting, and secure document storage. The scope also encompasses project management, an implementation plan, data migration assistance, system configuration and customization, as well as comprehensive testing and validation.
