(1) Vendor needs to provide government tax administration software. • System Process Requirements– Ability to conform to the requirements of the any current and/or future County ordinances, State laws or Federal laws pertaining to taxation and/or fee collections. Conformity to new ordinances or laws must occur prior to the effective date of such. – System must be and remain GAAS and GAAP compliant. – Ability to generate reports on transactions based on individual cashiers, locations and the total collections for all locations for any number of days as needed. – Ability to separate processed transactions by locations for cashiers that may process transactions at two different locations within the same working day, OR include all transactions with the last location's totals. – Ability to calculate and assess monthly penalty and interest charges based on respective filing dates and in accordance to COVA Dept of Taxation's state income procedures. – Ability to mass assess penalties to state income tax balances monthly, up to maximum threshold based on taxpayer filing date. – Ability to enter/update animal information for dog licenses including spayed/neutered, owner and/or owner address changes, name changes, rabies certificate date and tag number, county tag number, etc. – Ability to assign shortcut icons from the desktop to launch various modules within the application quickly.
