DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive government affairs and legislative strategy services for a four-year contract period. Responsibilities include designing and executing a legislative strategy to advocate for resources and policy environments that enable students to reach established graduate profiles. The scope also involves streamlining processes to improve operational efficiency and advocating for student-centered resources that support both educators and learners.
Vendors will deliver real-time intelligence with informal insights into political developments and map key decision-makers to identify optimal advocacy paths. Additional services encompass refining the legislative agenda, tracking pre-filed bills, advising on strategy and timing based on the political landscape, and supplying vote forecasting for priority legislation. The provider will also secure access to key decision-makers, engage in coalition building with various community leaders, and reinforce District messaging with legislators. Monitoring the external communication environment and supporting media-adjacent political strategies are also required.
