The State of Arkansas is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a global safety and security Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. This platform should facilitate real-time communication and seamless coordination among all stakeholders during safety or security incidents. The solution must empower Police and Emergency Management Teams to assess and respond to situations efficiently, while allowing staff, customers, visitors, and contractors to easily request assistance via smartphones or wearable devices.
The desired system is a user-friendly, centralized command and control platform that integrates various aspects of people safety, security, wellbeing, and incident management. Key functions should include the ability to view and manage personal safety alerts, first responders, user locations (with location sharing), and vehicles such as buses. The platform should also enable emergency mass communication, geo-targeted updates, dynamic chat group creation, tip report management, and wellbeing support. Additional requirements include historical event reporting, administrative configuration, and role-based access control to ensure appropriate information visibility and system security.
Access to the platform should be provided through a standard commercial browser, offering organizations a comprehensive, flexible, and scalable solution to enhance their safety and security operations.
