The Upper Environmental Sciences Centre seeks information about GIS, modeling, and statistical analysis software to support quality assurance and quality control of substantial datasets. The software must effectively manage and transform terabytes of data and provide advanced 3D point cloud visualization capabilities.
Essential features include the ability to classify 3D points, create and edit break lines and 3D features, perform volumetric analysis, classify ground and model key points, automate feature extraction, and generate a variety of end products from raw or preliminarily classified point cloud datasets. This includes generating surface and digital elevation models, hill shades, contours, and intensity layers.
The solution must offer full compatibility with Esri’s ArcGIS Pro, enabling seamless intake and export of shapefiles, and must be capable of processing large datasets including raw lidar and bathymetric data.
Best-fit vendors:
• Developer or reseller of advanced GIS and modeling software
• Demonstrated experience with large geospatial data management and visualization
• Proven integration capabilities with Esri ArcGIS Pro
• Expertise in lidar and bathymetric data processing
• Prior work with environmental or scientific agencies
