(1) Vendor needs to provide geotechnical engineering services to the government authority located in Penal, AZ.– Geotechnical Engineering Services includes the ability to plan, study, and analyze soils, rock, and other materials in support of the design and evaluation of various public works, transportation, and infrastructure projects. Services shall include, but may not be limited to: field investigations; laboratory testing; analyses; and the preparation of reports, memorandums, and other deliverables– Site investigations, subsurface exploration, and soil sampling;– Evaluation of soil, rock, and groundwater conditions;– Laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials;– Review of grading and earthwork plans for geotechnical compliance;– Review of Geotechnical reports and studies; and– Preparation of geotechnical reports or memorandums with recommendations for:– Foundation design (shallow and deep);– Pavement design including subgrade support and treatment/mitigation for expansive soils;– Slope stability and embankment design;– Retaining structures and earth support systems;– Settlement, consolidation, and bearing capacity analyses;– Groundwater control and drainage considerations; and– Construction support including field density testing, compaction control, and materials quality assurance.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 12, 2025(3) The contract period will be for one year.
