(1) Vendor needs to provide geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services to the government authority located in Greeley, CO. • Preparation of Subsurface Exploration Report– Identify type of soil– Identify swell potential– Identify bedrock depth– Identify moisture/density conditions and depth groundwater encountered. Provide geotechnical recommendations for design and construction of foundations, floor slabs, and pavement design for parking lots and driveways. Brief subsequent reports shall be submitted with each groundwater measurement interval. If supported by the test results, provide optional recommendations for foundation design and pavement design criteria. • Subsurface Exploration soil borings– Borings shall be extended to depths of approximately 30 feet below site grades for the building areas, and 15 feet below site grades for the parking lot areas. Provide a diagram indicating the boring number and approximate location. Location by GPS coordinates is preferred. Provide a field log to identify thickness, consistency, and character of each layer encountered. Pricing of Subsurface Report and Exploration soil borings. Provide a lump sum proposal for the initial soil reports and supplemental soil report per the Fee Schedule. Geotech firm is responsible for coordination with agency 6, Owner’s Representative and Design Team and concept design for the existing site, new facility and site redevelopment. Unit prices for drill rig mobilization and additional borings shall also be provided, in the event that additional borings are required, or borings at an alternate schedule or location are necessary. Proposal shall include all costs for soil borings, soil testing, analysis, and preparation of soil reports. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 4, 2025 (3) The contract period will be for one year.
