The government authority in Altamonte Springs, Florida is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive geotechnical and environmental engineering professional services. Required services include geotechnical and environmental site assessments, construction materials testing and inspection, as well as comprehensive geotechnical observation and reporting. Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) support is also included within the project scope.

Vendors will be responsible for conducting environmental compliance audits, regulatory coordination, and hazardous site remediation and oversight. Additional technical requirements involve geotechnical site characterization and subsurface exploration, including soil borings, Cone Penetration Testing (CPT), Standard Penetration Testing (SPT), groundwater evaluation, and high groundwater determinations. The contract also involves soils classification, laboratory testing of soil and rock, infiltration rate analysis, seismic analysis, design assistance, and the evaluation and design of flexible and rigid pavements. The contract is expected to last for two years.
