The state of Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide specialized groundwater data management software for geological survey applications. The desired solution must offer comprehensive tools for managing location-based groundwater data, including the ability to create and maintain different customizable location types and support multiple time series per location. The software should feature data review capabilities such as editing, analysis, and comparison of time series, as well as support for multiple user accounts with role-based permissions.
The platform must facilitate efficient groundwater data acquisition, allowing for rapid import from common data logger sources like In-Situ, Campbell Scientific, and Sutron. Compatibility with delimited TXT, CSV, XML, and JSON file formats is required, alongside automated extraction of publicly accessible USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) text-file data. For data dissemination, the system should provide an interactive map for visualizing and aggregating locations, filter and symbolize data using location attributes, and enable parameter and timespan selection for display.
Additional features should include customizable dashboards with widgets for charts, text, and images, an API for exporting time-series data and statistics to external platforms such as ArcGIS, and flexible charting tools that allow adjustments for axis scaling, line styling, timeframes, and data qualifiers. The ability to create report templates—such as grid, crosstab, and event analysis reports—is also required. Interested vendors should ensure they can address any inquiries by March 4, 2026.
