A government authority in New Jersey is seeking qualified firms to provide general engineering consultant services. The selected consultant will offer staffing support and deliver technical expertise in bridge engineering to assist the Commission’s operations.

Services will include support with bridge inspections, special inspections, technical guidance for bridge replacement projects and planning, reviewing reports, conducting surveys, damage assessments, cost estimating, and supporting insurance claims. Tasks may vary significantly, from emergency bridge inspections following incidents such as vessel allisions, to designing structural components for ancillary facilities.

The consultant will be responsible for supplying professional engineering and technical personnel to assist with day-to-day operations and to ensure a prompt response to emergencies affecting any of the authority’s facilities. The initial contract period is one year, and all inquiries regarding the opportunity must be submitted by February 6, 2026.
