A construction project is planned for the development of a Standard Design Barracks at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to accommodate 260 unaccompanied enlisted personnel. The primary scope includes living and sleeping quarters, baths, storage, service areas, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, antiterrorism measures in accordance with Department of Defense standards, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connections, and comprehensive interior design and furnishings. Accessibility for individuals with disabilities and the incorporation of cybersecurity measures are required.

Supporting site work involves utilities and connections to privatized electric, natural gas, water, and wastewater systems; site development; exterior lighting; paving; sidewalks; curbs and gutters; storm drainage; landscaping; and signage. Each living unit will have a self-contained heating and air conditioning system, with a central HVAC system serving common areas. The project also entails demolishing two existing buildings totaling 6,389 square feet. Facilities will be constructed to a minimum 40-year life expectancy, aligning with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria for energy efficiency and building performance. The estimated construction duration is 1,550 days, and the anticipated magnitude exceeds $10 million.
