The required system must include a card reader device positioned near outdoor bulk fuel tanks. This device will be used to control dispenser activation, monitor the volume of fuel dispensed, recognize and authorize WEX fuel cards, and interface seamlessly with existing fuel tanks.

The accompanying software should be capable of integrating with the department's active directory, enabling single sign-on functionality for staff members. Additionally, the software must include an audit log feature to track updates and changes, and it should provide tools for managing user access levels and authority within the system. The system must also have capabilities for tracking the current amount of fuel in storage tanks. Missouri is gathering information to better understand available solutions for fuel management and dispensing operations.
